I've been getting into doing some spatial recordings and wanted to share some of the new toys.
I picked up a Sanken CSS5 stereo shotgun microphone and to go with it a Ambient carbon fiber internally cabled stereo boom pole. Pretty excited to get this setup out in the field and out to use. I also picked up a stereo bar in case I want to use the pole for additional techniques with other mics. This adds to the spatial mics I have with the Holophone 3-D 5.1 microphone. Anyone looking for a spatial recording running a discount, dual package recording get both the stereo shotgun and the holophone for $150, included is Zoom F8 which can record all 8 channels 5.1 and stereo at the same time!
